I’m a graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Art Center College of Design, a native Southern Californian with over twenty years of experience as a creative director, art director and designer. Fortune has been good to me, as I’ve collected just about every advertising award there is, worked the world’s best agencies, including Leagas ~ Delaney, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, BBDO New York and Fallon, plus I once made four commercials for two different brands that ran during the same Super Bowl.
I’ve helped launch successful startups like Blue Nile and I’ve developed brand campaigns for major companies like adidas, Citibank, eBay, Planet Fitness and Denny’s. Car accounts are something I’ve spent a great deal of time on as well, not only freelancing on most of the well-known brands but also running creative on Hyundai at GS&P and Jeep at BBDO.
I have plenty of new business experience under my belt; I’ve contributed big ideas to winning pitches for Best Buy, Carl’s Jr., California Lottery, Little Bits, Cable One and others. And as a manager I’ve led the charge for multiple teams on numerous accounts. Yet I’ve always loved getting in the trenches to help create the work, and I always will. That’s because I enjoy the whole process: pitching new clients, mining insightful strategies, connecting the dots with each other and in the end, creating memorable advertising that pushes the needle.
I also have a passion for new products and services that solve old breakdowns more effectively. My entrepreneurial side linked with my interest in health and wellness has led me to partnering with a few current startups that have already gained traction in the market. One is soon to release a revolutionary patent-pending, anti-inflammatory formula for pets that has long been needed. The other offers a remarkable new solution for adults in recovery seeking permanent sobriety. I’m happy to say they are both already making a difference in people’s lives.
