When the agency took on this brand, Hyundai’s cars were thought of as unreliable econo-boxes. In order to turn that around they definitely had to make better cars, which they did, and we had to convince the world of that. Then came the next hurdle, convince consumers Hyundai could make a legitimate luxury sedan.

Brief – Genesis coupe
After convincing the US market Hyundai had created decent, affordable automobiles and a legitimate luxury sedan, we were given the task of showing the world Hyundai created a competitive rear-wheel-drive sports coupe. The only way to do this was to put it on a track, get a top driver to push it to its limits and let the enthusiasts decide.
